Blake McAdams is a bass trombonist based in Houston, Texas, and a scholarship student at the University of Houston. Drawn to the depth and power at the bottom of the brass section, he is building toward a professional career in orchestral playing.

Houston's deep musical community gives Blake a stage nearly every week. He performs with orchestras and regional symphonies, provides music for churches and worship services throughout the year, and plays in brass quintets, trombone choirs, and chamber groups for weddings, recitals, and special events.

Alongside performing, Blake teaches private bass and tenor trombone lessons for students of all levels — from beginners picking up the instrument to advanced players preparing for auditions. His teaching focuses on strong fundamentals, a healthy and efficient sound, and the habits that make practice actually stick.
